Any time you are given anything from the Lord you do something with it immediately. You share it or use it in a good way and God will be sure to acknowledge your faithfulness and He will be sure to multiply it where there was none. If you keep what you are given to yourself due to fear or laziness, it will be taken away and you will lose the opportunity to have it again.

It is important to cultivate faithfulness. It is important that we are faithful to God and use what we have been given for His good will and purposes. It is good to trust and believe that He will see what you have done and reward your faithfulness.

Cultivate a spirit of faithfulness today. Use everything that God has given you for good and trust that He will reward your faithfulness.

Matthew 25:14-29

Trust in the Lord and do good; Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Psalms 37:3

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:21

When riding a bike on a flat road, it feels easy because the resistance is light.  You are able to pedal quickly and move fast.  But as we know, not every road is flat.  At some point, you will encounter a hill on your ride.  Hills are not created equal, the height and length of hills are all different.  The higher and longer the hill, the greater the resistance and the slower the climb.  Hills are not easy, they require more strength and endurance riding on a flat road.

So knowing this, when you come to a hill make up your mind to finish the climb to the top.  Stay on your bike and trust the power and strength of your legs.  Do not turn around and return the way you came.  Do not get off the bike and push it with your hands to the top.  You have to keep pedaling no matter how hard and no matter how slow you are moving.  Riding uphill is hard but there is good news.

The good news is that hills do not go on forever.  There is another side to every hill that you will climb, the downhill side.  Upon reaching the other side, all hardships from the climb are quickly forgotten.  The other side is easier, you are free from pedaling and it is fun!  But in order to get there, you have to finish the climb!

Make up your mind to finish the climb no matter how hard it feels today.  Keep trusting God for His power and strength to help you and never stop believing you will make it to the top.  It does not matter how slow you move, it only matters that you keep moving forward because on the other side, there is fun and freedom waiting for you!

Sometimes I find myself lost in wonder about my future. What is God going to do? When is He going to do it? How is He going to do it? I can become so preoccupied with my thoughts of tomorrow that I miss what God is doing today. And so then I wonder, if I miss what God is doing today will I be able to see where He is leading me tomorrow?

It is better to focus your thoughts in the present. It is better to take care of what you have been given in this day and trust Him with your tomorrow. Friends, do not worry. God is faithful and He has your tomorrow in His hands.

Jesus I pray in Your Mighty name, that more people would trust You today with their tomorrow and turn their focus to the present time You have given them. I pray that their eyes are opened to see Your glorious presence in their today. Lord, we know and believe You are faithful and You will work out our future for Your good will and purposes. Jesus, we love and praise Your Holy name. Amen.

“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34
