Never Too Late
We search for love to one day lose it.
We clean for dust to again settle.
We work and store up money for days that aren’t promised.
Life is merely reduced to cycles of experiences that are sure to be undone.
We long for lives of passion.
We long for big moments.
We wait for others to provide it.
We watch it fade into memory.
We long once more.
Is this the purpose of the beat of a heart or the warmth of breath inside us?
Have we reduced life to a simple quest for dependency and comfort?
Have you wondered had you not conformed to the path paved by society where you might be?
Have you wondered how you had the courage to commit your life to someone and yet not have the courage to live your own?
Is it too late?
Too late to start living?
Too late to break cycles?
Too late to create new paths?
The answer is no.
It’s never too late.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””
Joshua 1:9 ESV
